Niagara Falls couple wins $50,000 from DirectBuy

Do you know anyone who’s won $50,000? Antoine Hill and Kandice Brundidge didn’t. At least not until earlier this month. Hill and Brundidge entered the $50,000 Home Makeover Contest by attending an Open House at DirectBuy of Buffalo’s Club in Cheektowaga. Winners of the contest have the option of accepting a makeover or the cash. Currently renting in Niagara Falls, Hill, an assembly worker, and Brundidge, a certified nurse’s aide, opted for the money, to which they hope to put toward a new home.

“We haven’t made too many purchases, just a few things for around our home plus some new school clothes for our son,” said Kandice. “We can’t thank DirectBuy enough. This money will help make our dream of owning our own home come true.”
